Congratulations! You have just taken a crucial step toward ensuring your future success and happiness.

Instructions for your comprehensive, 10-step, career and education planning process are provided below. Links to each step are provided for fast, easy access.

We encourage adults to complete all 10 steps in the process. Middle and High School students may want to stop after completing step #8. Depending on your age, the amount of time you are willing to invest and your objectives, you may choose to skip certain components within a given step.

4. Obtain information about each career

5. Evaluate careers. Select “finalists”.

6. Summarize your “finalists”.

7. Network!

8. Develop an education plan.

9. Choose the “right” industry/company.

10. Find the “right” first job.
